Privacy & Cookie Policy

Your images stay on your device

All image processing in GridPrint happens entirely in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to any server. No account is required. Your files never leave your device.

Analytics

We use PostHog (EU cloud) to count anonymous, aggregated usage, such as page views and which features are used. This helps us improve GridPrint. Before you choose in the cookie banner, PostHog runs without cookies. If you accept, PostHog also sets cookies so we can recognize returning visits. If you decline, PostHog stops and does not load again. PostHog receives standard technical data such as browser, device type and approximate country. It never receives your images.

Page view statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and visits. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.

Error tracking

We use Sentry to capture JavaScript errors and crashes. This helps us find and fix bugs. Sentry is considered strictly necessary for the operation of the service and does not require consent. Error reports may include your browser type and the page URL. They never include your images.

Feedback you send us

If you use the feedback form, we receive your message, the feedback type and, only if you enter it, your email address. We store this in PostHog and Sentry so we can read and answer it. We use your email only to reply. To have your feedback deleted, email [email protected].

Advertising

GridPrint shows ads from Google AdSense to stay free. Ads appear only on information pages, never in the editor. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. In the EU, UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message asks for your choice first. To change it, use "Cookie settings". Elsewhere, you can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com) or at www.aboutads.info. Google's policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Affiliate links

Some pages show affiliate links to shops and apps, for example Amazon, Mercado Livre, Let's Enhance, Topaz Labs and Domestika. Each affiliate link carries a label. If you buy after a click, the shop pays GridPrint a commission. Your price stays the same. GridPrint sets no cookie for these links and loads no shop code on its pages. After the click, you are on the shop's website. The shop may then set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Some programs run through an affiliate network, such as Impact or Awin, whose link sets a tracking cookie. In the EU, UK and Switzerland, we show those links only after you accept cookies. To pick the shop for your country, our server reads your approximate country from the request. It does not store your IP address. We count clicks on these links (which link, page, language and country), not who clicked. To refuse shop cookies, use your browser settings or the shop's cookie choices. As an Amazon Associate, GridPrint earns from qualifying purchases. Exported PDFs never contain affiliate links or tracking.

Local storage

GridPrint stores your language preference, saved presets, and cookie consent choice in your browser's local storage. Except as noted below, this data never leaves your device and is not shared with any third party. GridPrint also stores a random number that decides which version of an ad or link layout you see, so it stays the same on your next visit. In the EU, UK and Switzerland, GridPrint stores this number only after you accept cookies. PostHog receives the version you see with usage data, so we can compare the versions.

Cookies used

If you accept analytics, PostHog sets first-party cookies to recognize returning visits. They are used only for aggregated statistics. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. If GridPrint shows ads, Google and its partners may also set cookies, as described under Advertising. In the EU, UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message stores your choice in a cookie. After you click an affiliate link, the shop or affiliate network may set its own cookies, as described under Affiliate links.

Your choices

You can accept or decline analytics at any time. Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer or the app menu to change your preference. Declining does not affect any functionality — GridPrint works fully without analytics.
